Faye Brown Coaching is a sole trader and does not have a Data Protection Officer, as this is not a legal requirement for a business of this size.

Where this happens, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or reliance on a valid adequacy decision, so that your data continues to receive a level of protection equivalent to UK GDPR.

6. Data Retention


We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected.

As a guide:

Client coaching records and session notes: retained for 2 years after our working relationship ends, to allow for continuity of care and to respond to any queries.

Financial records (invoices, payment data): retained for 6 years, in line with HMRC requirements.

Enquiry or contact form submissions that don't lead to a client relationship: retained for 12 months, then deleted.

Newsletter sign-ups: retained until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent.

Once data is no longer needed, it is securely deleted or anonymised.

7. Data Security


All personal data is stored securely using password-protected systems and encrypted storage. Access is restricted to the coach and authorised personnel only.
